Cardy Construction Ltd is a well established and successful construction firm based in Canterbury. Across the three Cardy sites, provision is made for various services, including design and construction of new commercial and residential structures, as well as maintenance and service of existing buildings for major clients.Cardy's Sandwich site, housed on Pfizers contractors compound, manages new buildings and maintenance of the existing Pfizers site.

Working Relationship
The original systems at Sandwich were minimal, but as business growth has demanded improved systems, J & J have provided Cardy with best advice and service to achieve their goals.

IT Systems
Cardy Construction have one head office with two semi-permanent satellite offices. The connectivity at the Cardy sites has grown with the business and increased functionality requirements.

Cardy use an Internet Service Appliance, the Netpilot to service e mail and Internet activity at two sites. The third site utilises a Microsoft Windows 2000 Small Business Server to manage both communications and file serving functions.

Due to the Internet usage at one site, Satellite ADSL has been installed to maintain a fast and permanent connection to the Internet to allow business driving emails to reach the recipient quicker and more reliably.

Cardy benefit from a J & J Systems fixed maintenance contract on hardware services at all sites and also take advantage of contract purchase of general services.

J & J Systems provide both telephone and remote support assistance to Cardy on a comprehensive basis for all levels of problem should they experience system difficulties.

J & J Systems also supply Cardy with Internet Service Provision, including website hosting and amendment, domain name hosting and dial-up connection to the Internet.
